| [#2116] 中秋節快樂 JC, I am category one hifi fan: do not know how to listen and do not know how to tweak. So gold ear award should go to TaiHup. That afternoon experience is totally new to me, I have never played with a Sub. No doubt it is a very good sub as I can hear a difference everytime a small change is made to the setting. Very sensitive which means it can work in coherence with the other speakers. I like the hot tea very much! JBLai, Many thanks for providing such a good clubhouse for us. I enjoy every minute of my stay. Your system sounds much better this time. Just half a step away from perfect, work harder on it! Sokps, Thanks so much for the ride again! |

| [#2123] Maira Music Chronical I played this CD just before Kwong and Yip sir started helping me on the Sub. Songs were familiar yet with different vocal presentation. Sounded so much like Paula Tsui and Deanie Ip. They both tried many attempts to guess but failed. After simcity and fy turned up, I played it again, fy was fast to spot it he got it right. Yip sir, as per your request, please find attached picture of the cover, back and some contents. Again it is a recording done in Quangzhou. Recording quality is very high. Maria's voice is not as funky as we use to know. She is singing more effortlessly or maybe it is my added Sub? Please enjoy the FAT MA!  |

| [#2127] Tai Po Club House brief Morning Gents, What frightens me on visits at JBLK2's mansion (aka: The Tai Po club house) is how he keeps his estate in pristine condition at "ALL TIMES". His lawns are always perfectly manicured (both front & back), I also saw may be 100 individual plants & flower pots arrangement all lined-up in exact distance from each other ( similar to how he sets up his ML mono blocks)and .....not "one-dead-leave" was found! As mentioned before JBLK2 latest analog " super bird" won the hearts of many, but the one merit which stood above for me was on the heavy "Drum Solos" - the LP playback simply yields an uncommon impact/texture (especially on high-hats), seldom heard through Vinyls in the sub 60 Hz region and with great competence. JBLK2, You have an exceptional keen sense of "attention-to-details" (not just in Hi-Fi) and it's a privilege to be part of it. Thank you again for a lovely evening! Sokps: Big Thanks for making the arrangement and I enjoyed your superb driving skill very much as well, the part where we forced the vehicle ahead to the side of the road was exciting... |

| [#2128] Tai Po Club House brief First I must thank Ms. Lai for welcoming me in the rainy night with her umbrella and her helper for preparing the drinks and snaks and mooncake. The owner of this club house is so generous in providing his Grand Cru red wine,thankyou, JB. Now back to business. I must declare that your new toy worths every penny and pushes your analogue playback to a new level though not fully broken in. The Sheffield Drum record was spectacular and Elvis's voice couldn't be better. |

| [#2134] FAT MA CD 今日閒在家裡喪爆,把一些已放埋很久的 CD 從冷宮取出壹壹番聽,當中有兩隻係 70 年代 o既歌,當年溝女開 PARTY 必播. 第一隻係 CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL 簡稱 (CCR),樂與怒歌有 SUSIE Q, WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN, PROUD MARY,UP AROUND THE BAND. 不過當年聽o既係黑膠唱片今日係 SACD,論效果 SACD 竟然不及黑膠唱片.當中我最鐘意聽 I HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE. 當時我用部 DIY 6BQ5 6W 8 ohm 膽機配隻 16 ohm 全音 Goodman 喇叭聽起黎o既感覺和投入程度遠勝 SACD. 第二隻係 THE SEEKERS, 當中有 I WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER YOU, A WORLD OF OUR OWN, MORNINGTOWN RIDE..... 亦都係一樣黑膠唱片大勝 CD. 不過已把我的思緒帶到忘憂的 70 年代片刻 @@  |
