| [#3005] Accuphase Fans "大家係玩金仔之前, 係玩邊個牌子?" Before 金仔, I was using Rowland Synergy IIi and 501, and 金仔 sounds soooo much better (and more powerful, too). After nearly 2 years, I still marvel at its amazing build quality and lifelike sound. The only pre-power that can make my part with this 金仔 setup would be a better 金仔! Before that, Classe CAP-80 + P101 biamp (nice and neutral for the price) Before that, Exposure XV (wonderful little thing, great phono stage, too) Before that, NAD 3100 Before that, NAD 3020i (My first hifi. Considered the best buy in high end back then. Pretty wimpy output though.) |

| [#3022] Accuphase Fans Hi Racewong, Yeah, the thought of lifting this heavy mama is rather crazy, but I have often found that although Accuphase's TAOC-made footers are already quite good (much better that the rubber ones that come with most hifi), I can sometimes do better with other footers. I now have TAOC 35S for my preamp and I used to use J1 Project polymer spikes underneath the DP-55V's feet. I am thinking about using the J1 project for the power amp. However, this would likely be mission impossible. If I can lift the amp single-handedly at such awkward angles, I can probably apply for the next Olympics :) |
