The output valves are connected as tetrodes to give 25 watts output. 2. A larger output transformer is used, and feedback is taken from a tertiary winding. 3. An additional valve controls the screen supplies. 4. The bias circuits are modified. Distortion is greater than in the TL/12, being approximately 0.2% at 1000 c/s for 20 watts output, and the damping factor is lower. | [#3121] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user I really don't know the 'point' Leak was doing. Improve the transformer but wire it as tetrode, except for more power. In my opinion, if wire it back to triode, change the KT61 to be a CCS providing current source for the ECC32 and EF37 will be much more ideal. I have very bad experience when the G2 voltage way down from the plate. Those technique to get the most from a transmission tetrode, such as TT21. diytfy! |
