| [#3271] Leak Club This pre-amplifer was the acompanying unit for the TL/10 power amplifer. This pre-amp features the new "Baxandall" feedback tone control circuit published in Wireless World, and so has continous control of boost and cut, instead of stepped switches. Variable slope high frequency filtering is not provided on this cheaper model. As with all Leak pre-amps, there are two gain stages each with shunt feedback. The first stage performs any required equalisation, and the second stage performs tone control functions. Technical Summary: Issued for use with the cheaper TL/10 power amp. The unit has two EF86 valves. Four equalisation settings are available for disc (AES/RCA-Ortho, Col-LP/FFRR-LP, NARTB/HMV-LP, and BRIT-78), plus Tape and Tuner inputs. Baxandall tone control circuit used. Two EF86 valves. Steel front panel finished in gold enamel. Mono only. Varislope filter is not included. --------------------------------------------- Chim Though this pre amplifier was designed for TL/10, I think it could match TL/12 Point One well.
