Is the Oistaskh set Stereo or mono?

You are right, "The early you buy the CDs, the more you're losing.", eg, the Wang Haydn Cello concerto which I bought a while ago is also on sales, now it is $138 for 2 in causeway HMV (if I remember correctly).

It seems that those 'supreme 200' CD are normal edition (not re-issue) but selling at mid-price, am I correct?

Take the EMI version, Once you merge into the performance, it is hardly to believe that it is a mono recording.
Only Mozart concerto & Shostakovich concerto are in stero.

The others are mono

Another reason for me to buy the Marcello oboe CD is composer of the 2nd piece - Sammartini. I remember I've encountered one of his cello piece before, although I don't have any knowledge about him.

I think the supreme 200 are all re-issued.
They all made by Universial Music,EU version with the old label Only. ( some of them still printed made in W. germany).
But anyway it is worth to buy some of them
