| [#3626] LEAK Club If I remember correctly, the 600 ohm power resistors used in original LEAK TL/12.1 is quite average in quality, not really of any 'hi-end' inductionless type. It is a wire-wound type, same as your 'blue teeth'. --------------------------------------------- The original 600R is wire wound type. West Electric BLUE TEETH is also a wire wound type. That is great!!! Advantages: (1) Same material with the original one. (2) BLUE TEETH is accurate. (3) LOOK great (4) Sound performance does not drop (5) Save the the life of the expensive KT66 or more expensive i.e. VT75 (6) Save the cow cow (7) Daily improvement DD Any more : ) John |

I heard from some 'sifu' that A&B carbon resistors are the best for the purpose if you 'silky' and 'smooth' (人聲柔d,滑d..冇咁'行') sound. Since you cannot find any A&B 600 ohm 5-7W resistor, the 'sifu' suggested using 3 pieces of 2W A&B resistors in parallel. You may try if you wish to compare with the 'blue teeth'. r |
