| [#401] What are you listening to? ( classical mus Listening to Bach transcription by Stokowski. I always found Bach's music very boring, but Stokowski's transcription turn them into orchestral showpieces, made them sound lively again.  |

( classical mus Last night, I also listened to Tchaikovsky, that was his symphony No.3 `Polish', although this symphony was less famous than the other symphony written by Tchaikovsky, it is still very enjoyable, in the end Tchaikovsky was a master of melody writting and orchestration. Markevich's version was a red hot, deeply romantic view, but the recording sounded dated now. |

| [#410] What are you listening to? ( classical mus Actually in 2003, I was fortunate enough to see a ballet perfromance of `Sleeping Beauty' in the Royal opera house in the Covent Garden of London. Thereafter I understand that ballet music have to be seen rather than heard, although the music is enjoyable in itself. |
