| [#4318] The mystery of the P & C -- cont'd Hi Trollope, Once upon a time, when I notice a difference in the P & C, I just assume it is a reissue version. I don't really care if it is 1st edition or not given the price is affordable. In fact a lot of reissue CD sound very good. Long time ago, I read article mentioning one can hear the MTR (tube) noise in recording made in Tuen Wan City Hall (or some Abbey in London ??). |

I meant to check it out this evening, but I am in quite a bit of a hurry and in fact under pressue to get something finished. The deadline has, poor thing, died a few days ago. Somebody has been sitting on my neck about it. Such is life! |

But for Sting quartet, I will go to see Borodin tomorrow night in City Hall. 2 weeks ago, I bought a book introducing Classical music, the bookshop just underneath 提琴唱片專門店. Some chapter tells us how to enjoy content of classical music minute by minute, very interesting and good for beginner as me. |

| [#4334] 真是踏破鐵鞋無覓處 Hi erictang, Glad to meet you, too. I just listened Debussy's Cello Sonata by Rostropovich & Britten. It's my 2nd time to listen this title, although I enjoyed over 20 times the first title of same CD - Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata. It's really interesting that for the classical music, we get different feeling on the same song at different period of time. |
