| [#445] What are you listening to? ( classical mus Ocen Hing, I found BBC ver. of Elgar cello concerto by Dupre was less "sansational" than Sony and EMI one. Her performance is lighter, more orchestral, easy listening and more importantly LESS DUPRE. I really wanna give Fournier's performance a try, do you mind telling me if your ver. is his live recording in Japan? IMO, Fournier's tonal performance is always my favourite, however I always have an impression like he is living in the period of Romance. So, I just think Dupre was doing the right thing. |
