However, without a couple settings tweaks, audio files with resolution higher than 16-bit/44.1kHz will automatically be downsampled to that resolution.』 Support XX resolution 唔等如 Play at XX resolution。 MacBook Pro 用 usb digital out 比 Modi 又睇唔到 out D 乜嘢 resolution 比 Modi （Modi 得1粒燈） Rip CD，我用 EAC，conversion 有好多其他方法。 我未用過 VinylStudio 同 iKey.，所以無意見。 慢慢再研究。 另外一個方法 play 渡口 同 恰似你的溫柔 24/96 files，係把2個24/96 files 入落 Zoom H5 張 sd card， 用 H5 play， line out to Onkyo Pre. 出聲後可以用 iPhone 錄。   最後修改時間: 2023-09-09 09:51:41 |

| [#47301] Acoustic Research AR 友 [#47296] I could see my iMac could output 96/24 with the Dragonfly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chi哥， Good，即係你部 iMac 認到個 DragonFly Black， iMac 個 Audio Devices 可以 set 到 96kHz，因為 DragonFly will play music or audio data at sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, or 96kHz。 你部 MacBook Pro 都應該認到 DragonFly Black 同 Modi，2部都應該 set 到 96kHz，因為2部都係最高 support 96kHz。 DragonFly Black 同 Modi 都係用 usb 電。 Bitrate/位元率 係另一樣嘢，流量， bits per second 。 CD 同 rip 出嚟嘅 file WAV 都係恆定/constant bps，1411kbps，bit depths 係 16-bit，sample rate 係 44.1 kHz。 Output 個 16/44 file 去 DragonFly Black，會著綠燈 (DragonFly’s LED displays different colors to indicate status or sample rate of audio data. For DragonFlys Black and Red: Red = Standby; Green = 44.1kHz; Blue = 48kHz; Amber = 88.2kHz; Magenta = 96kHz; Purple = MQA.) ， Modi 就顯示唔到。 VinylStudio rip CD 出嚟嘅 24/96 WAV file 唔係真 high resolution file，因為 CD data 只有 16/44/1411kbps，係用 interpolation (mathematical approximations) 方法整容到 24/96 WAV format (4608kbps)。 用 DSD64 file (1-bit/2.8224 MHz，5644.8kbps constant ) convert 出嚟嘅 24/96 WAV file (4608kbps)，會係真 high resolution file。 Chi哥 可以比較VinylStudio rip CD 出嚟嘅 24/96 WAV file 同 DSD64 file convert 出嚟嘅 24/96 WAV file。 有 Onkyo pre，Modi (1.5 volts) 同 DragonFly Black (1.2 volts) output 都冇問題。 Mac 用 Audio Devices set 嘢， Windows 用呢個：   最後修改時間: 2023-09-09 14:23:26 |

| [#47307] Acoustic Research AR 友 OK, just been to the garage(my music room) and I felt like inside an oven!!!!! Today it could be as high as 33*C and I don't think I could do too much in the garage so I quickly check with my MacBook and predicted it recognised the Modi. However.....stupid me I thought it recognises the Modi and it will change the output to 96/24. As Dyna San suggested it supported but doesn't mean it will play!!!! I just found out that though my files have been converted to 96/24 and even some 192/24 but it has always been playing on 44.1/16!!!!! My MacBook can even support up to 192/32 which is even more than my iMac which is just 96/24!!!! My MacBook is a 2012 model and the iMac is 2017!!!!! Crap!!!! Some screenshots from my MacBook.
