CD 1 Piano Concerto No.1 in D minor, op.15 Scherzo in E flat minor, op.4 Ballades, op.10 CD 2 Piano Concerto No.2 in B flat major, op.83 Piano Pieces, op.76 CD 3 Fantasias, op.116 Intermezzi, op.117 Piano Pieces, op.118 Piano Pieces, op.119 CD 4 Rhapsodies, op.79 Waltzes, op.39 Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, op.24 Stephen Kovacevich / LSO / Sir Colin Davis [May 1979 to July 1983] Philips 475 7160 5 PB4 The concertos were last seen in a pair of Philips Duo (I remember lym has posted the LP cover here), but it has been withdrawn. Most of the other solo pieces have been out of circulation even longer. Kovacevich's Brahms on Philips are quite irresistible. He has great pose and many exquisite touches, and he "sings" a bit more naturally than Brendel. |

| [#4975] Play on, mates 哈哈,不望天佑善人,只願天佑我的愛人,願他快樂無憂... 在這無法入睡的夜晚,我聽著日版EMI Die Kunst von Wilhelm Furtwangler 的 費德理奧: Alfred Poell Otto Edelmann Wolfgagn Windgassen Martha Modl Gottlob rick Sena Jurinac Rudolf Schock Wiener Philharmoniker Recorded: 13 - 17 Oct, 1953 (MONO) Issued: Aug 2000 TOCE 3743.44 很喜歡Leonore Overture, 我沒有聽過很多版本的Leonore Overture, 未能做一個很好的comparison. 我也不像各位有很多的形容詞, 能準確表達我內心的喜歡. 所以我只能說, 我很喜歡. 不過怪的是, Naxos 11月出的Fidelio (見下) 也應是這個版本, 因Naxos的網頁也寫是同一日期(13-17 Oct, 1953)錄的. 但查看時間, 卻發覺每一條track的時間都不同, Naxos版每一條track都快一點. 為什麼呢?  |
