That's why the golden era of RCA was from 1956 to 1963. |

| [#5559] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) I don't like photo editing either but sometimes you just need to fine tune it a bit to enhance the picture. It is not something evil just like in older days, people used to fine tune their film pictures using dark room techniques. Your original picture seems to have over exposed (unfortunately, digital pictures have a narrower dynamic range for exposure comparing to film). In your picture, probably the heavy green covering the middle section had fooled the auto exposure metering of the camera to think that the main object is severly lack of lighting, hence over exposing the image as a whole. Mind you that a DSLR is not smarter then a compact DC in terms of auto exposure metering, in fact it can be more dumb. You will find yourself having to press the +/- ev setting buttons a lot. |

| [#5565] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) Photo editing is a must. Photo processing is actually part of photography. In the good old days, we had to do it it in the dark room. Nowadays, though tremendous improvements have been made to DCs, the pic quality is still far inferior to the traditional professional cameras, the remedial measures of which ought to be done by IT software such as Photoshop or Nikon Capture. Anyhow, I enjoy photo editing myself subsequent to shooting. It's really part of the game. |
