I don't mind the bad photo being commented vigorously and directly. This is the basis of sharing! Why should one refrain from giving honest comments?

I remember the days when I was the in-charge of a community hall overhearing the even more direct comments from a part-time instructor of a photography interest group to his followers, a bit like the vintage amp "gurus" who tauch his followers. But this instructor praised my other photos (at that time my photography skills were even worse)! Haha. You see what a world! :)

I am learning to use my new camera. The photo below shows a lack of an interest spot, no doubt. This was due to the default autofocusing that targets at numerous metering spots. When I change to select one spot only, it forces the camera to focus on the Millienium City 5 APM building (with BEA sign) as my intended spot of interest of the photo. The view on relying on photo-editing software as a must is interesting. I know this practice comes from the previous dark room age. But I am still laze to do this.

I didn't comment on your photos or photography. I only want to emphasize photography doesn't merely mean shooting photo as it may include photo processing. As regards myself, I enjoy taking photos as well as processing photos.

睇相的人 default 都會好似部機咁在相中掃瞄找尋焦點.

和你對相機所作的一樣, 取景時都要盡量能令佈局或構圖帶引或強迫看的將注意力放在自己所選定的那 spot of interest 上.

Good morning gingers.

For your photo, viewer will be quickly captured by the big blue caps (due to the eye cpaturing color). Ride on it they will begin to explore the power amp on which those caps rest on and probably noticed the silverish mercury tube tops.

A picture can tell a story. So each picture should have a sign, an impression, a wants or something else from the photographer. Someone would say that mine is a snapshot, not title at all. But a great picture always from a snapshot.

My photo below can be titled as "收工喇!!"
