Did he ever mention in his article why using rice cooker cables? Why not vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, fan...? Or perhaps his wife like to upgrade rice cooker like we upgrade our hifi?

But this Golden Tube Audio 300B really a shit /rubblish!! I bought it at 勁X at about $20K and sold at $8K after few months..

I know! Ginger's neighbour Mr Yuen used to have the monoblock version. They sound very thin and weak. He asked me to modify the cap to REL cap as instructed by Spring Yeung in Fat Siu Yum Heung. He finally gave up and sell the pair together with the WE300B at cheap cheap price. I think nowadays the pair of 300B would cost more than what he got.

They are all音鉒契, I had also modified it's coupling to REL caps, the 2 super smallest REL 0.01uf costs me 600HKD that time!! and also吹噓will fxxking 起死回生..＞____＜

I remember Spring Yeung blew up this brand in every issue of Fat Siu. There's also a 6L6 parallel single end amp which sounds so boring...

None of us can avoid being On九 during our hifi journey. I used to be On九九 too asking advice from those salesmen and yi sau lo getting all the garbage.

Talking about Rel Cap, this editor Chan always advise Marantz 7 and Marantz 1 owners to parallel a .22uF Rel cap to the output cap to extend the bass cutoff. I was also On99 and did what he suggested. The sound was so horrible! I think anyone who has experience in vintage hifi would not be so stupid to parallel a modern plastic cap to a vintage cap.

I also remember that time a writer named哈佛唐(something like that) had modified his M7 with 2.2uF Rel cap to the output stage and claimed almost 識飛..and I had also followed 徐X強 for a 面目全非M7 cloned, with huge uF coupling Rel caps also..

To me, the Leak 12.1 is clearly a winner today but don't understate the potential of your other EL34 Leak amp. Did you have a moment of thought being trapped by us all to follow rwcy and other people to go for for ultimate front-end source, the LP? Be careful before commitment, the LP is another no-return road.

300B has a very sexy vintage look and this was one of the reasons that I fell in love with tube. But when it comes to compare with globe tube, 300B is not yet sexy enough. :)
