I tend to agree with your theory on the front loaded horn. It makes a difference. Though I like Alnico units, I am never fond of old speaker boxes.

Agreed entirely! The bass was STUNNING and filled up the entire big room at Anthony's place!
Worthwhile to consider if your sitting room is larger than 400 sq. ft.

Good morning,

It is glad to see the two Tannoy 15" owners are all using Leak TL/12 Point One now. XWH is uysing Marantz 7 and NEC is using both Fisher 50C & 400CX-2.

I saw one Tannoy 15" Silver at NEC place. Another Silver will soon arrive. Curious to see the difference between the RED & SILVER. If NEC finally decides NOT to use the RED as rear speaker system. The RED will be CUT LOVE, I guess........................ : )

I would say both XWH & NEC are SILVER lovers : )
