Your "Tan Tan Yau Ching" is a re-issue, so don't use it as a reference. I have a OMNIDISC from Telarc that I can bring it to tune your cartridge setting. You can call me to see if I can offer any assistance. Don't buy too much LP from the start. In fact, you should buy some accessories such as brushes, stylus cleaning fluid, anti-static gun, etc. Too bad I gave some of my surplus to a vinyl newbie two months ago. I also have several MM or MC cartridges and a Ortofon MC transformer being kept as spare. I can lend them to you if you wish. Take time to enjoy the vinyl sound with your M7 which has a very good phono stage. For your C-22, I am afraid it will better match your CD player rather than your LP system......the sound will be too thick and slow. |

I visited wai fook sai lu 10 years ago. and now the sun tau je electronic complex is located there. ordered 2 pairs of single ended transformers using german and US made vintage double C core ironsto be wound for 3k and 10k respectively. will visit the night market there in future, peoples there said a lot of hong kong vintage traders are there every week to buy and trade goods. |

| [#6308] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user hi John, long time no talk. i have repainted the trans with tar-paint but it takes quite a bit of time to dry perhaps due to rainy weather. other than that, i'm still fixing the leaky PSU cap block, which is quite difficult for me. |

I just also bought 10 PIO can cap clamps. 10 each. previously I bought these much more expensive in Mongkok. 2 litz wire coil for my small speaker project, $14 each while over $100 in HK. So I earned back my rail tickets. The trannies are very good and they are quite reasonable on price. But I have to wait for around 1 month for these to be completed winding. |
