Albert 兄,

已遷往將軍澳工作,近況很好. 只是 005 及 011 表現每下況愈, 加上王師傅手工唔錯, 部 Krell 仲用得,所以冇換 hifi, 莫說 fihi.

其實甚麼是 fihi, sort of 陳冠希的玩伴嗎? 噢!小朋友們心中的'純情'姐姐己長大,不再天真了!

只嘆現今社會太多聲音太複雜,凡事講包裝,錯與對巳令人迷失.但像我等的小男人,只要放開點就日日心境開朗.

在此介紹一小品 Mozart Piano Quartet, 錄音演奏都很好.

You're right. I am still using the Tannoys for fun. Financially I find it difficult for me to change to another speakers. No more "pen", "lan" & "cheng" speakers in the market. Even 3/5a costs from $9,000 to $25,000. Maybe Spendor BC1 a good choice below $10,000 but my favorite 300B SETA seems can hardly drive it well. I am now using Matisse Reference pre-amplifier to drive a Sunaudio 300B SETA. There is nothing special with this Sunaudio which is built with cheap cheap components. But it can let me use my WE300B and WE274 collections at the same time. Those vintage tubes do help a lot to improve the sound, though the price of the tubes are 7 to 8 times of the cost of the amp. The Matisse Reference is a kind of suck in terms of build quality, but quite good to match with 300B SETA. Before the CNY I did try what you suggested regarding the placement of the Tannoys at my place. The result was still not up to my satisfaction. Room size is still a problem for placing the speakers with such a big cabinets.
