| [#8086] Leak Club for Leak lovers n19137, I don't know much about the charging circuitry of the PLP but perhaps using those small lead-acid battery available in Apliu street will further improve the sound. We did some tube swapping in PLP and it seems that TFK801s + Mullard long plate X7 sound very good. Imho PLP sounds quite 'cool' if using all TFK tubes throughout. One or two pairs of Mullard tubes will add a lot of 'involving factor' to it. |
