It should be a good match for the more powerful V76 as well." i'm quite surprised that it can drive 600 ohm input impedance. given the lowish output cap, the low end will roll off over 100hz. probably the jr149 is not pumping out a lot low end stuff. it won't do with a more full range speaker. regards king |

| [#8597] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user For sharing: To keep vintage gears physically 'fit', keep them regularly used, i.e. at least a couple hours in a week or at least in a month. Do not use higher Ac voltage than their rated. Usually a slightly lower AC mains voltage is advisable, i.e. 110-115V mains for a 117V-rated gear, instead of 120V or higher. It is dangerous for old machines! Do not keep vintege gears powered on for a lengthy period of time, e.g. more than 4 to 8 hours depending on the AC mains voltage of your area. Higher the AC mains, lesser will be the number of hours of use. Do not leave vintage gears unattended overnight. This is ART as well as SCIENCE playing with vintage amps. They simply cannot be laboured as if they were young men. Richard |
