| [#9202] Andre Cluyten 罕見的第四號布拉姆斯交響曲錄音 Andre Cluyten與法國國立管弦樂團的1958年版本，不但組合很特別，演出也很出色，偶而還可在一些段落聽到在別的錄音中，很少被凸顯的樂器。比較遺憾的是錄音尖銳乾活C Andre Cluyten 與布拉姆斯搭上關係的唱片，過去僅有他和鋼琴家魯賓斯坦 (Arthur Rubinstein)合作的第二號鋼琴協奏曲，但日本的Passion & Concentration（專發行奇怪現場實況的CD-R廠牌）卻挖來令人驚奇的 Sound Archiv（編號Paco1016），讓人很佩服。是否 Cluyten 的演出，很難考證，網上關於他的錄音整理都未提及有這個布拉姆斯第四號的版本。  |

| [#9203] 稀有的拜雷特華格納歌劇錄音 Wilhelm Furtwangler 早有華格納指揮家的美譽，但他在華格納聖地拜雷特 (Bayreuth) 的演出卻少得可憐，如果不將戰後演出貝多芬第九號交響曲算在內，Furtwangler僅參加過五次拜雷特音樂節，分別是1931年演出《崔斯坦伊索德》，1936年演出《指環》、《帕西法爾》、《羅恩格林》，1937年再度演出《指環》及《帕西法爾》，1943年及隔年演出《紐倫堡名歌手》。其中1936年的《羅恩格林》第三幕選曲，是 Furtwangler 在拜雷特錄下最重要的現場歌劇唱片之一。 這個僅保留30分15秒片段的錄音，由瑞典廣播公司收藏，John Ardoin在《The Furtwangler Record》一書中，讚陶o個演出「兼具喜氣洋溢和優雅自如的感覺，但在演出的光彩奪目外表下，輪廓分明節奏清楚。」並認為Furtwangler 讓著名的婚禮合唱和二重唱「帶有非塵世的性質」。不過，這個演奏的CD僅兩度被出版，分別在上個世紀1980年代及1990年代，由Acanta、Gramophono發行，如今這些CD都已經絕版難尋。因此，德國廠牌Archipel將在本月底推出此錄音的CD再版，對在上個世紀錯過收藏機會的福迷而言，絕對是個好消息。 想知道「1951 年拜雷特到底發生啥些事？ 」，可參考南方音響 http://www.southaudio.com.tw/Music%20ACQ01.htm  |

| [#9213] Dear CDs wal Nice to know that you finally pondered on both Maestro Klemperer's live account in Missa Solemans and his last concert in 1972 (still wondering this mono recording was recorded secretly by audience in the live concert). vicissitudes are fickle, as you said, that why we got to get hold every minutes to do the right thing and most importantly enjoy this immortal music whatever it takes. | [#9218] recent acquisitions Pollini's early Beethoven piano concerto cycle is well worth having, specially because there is Dr Bohm. As for Giulini/ LAPO, I heard them in Beethoven's 5th, Schubert's 8th, and Dvorak's 8th, and I must say I was quite impressed. That's why I've 'invested' $$$ on this Brahms 1st, and will perhaps get more of his La Scala/ Concertgebouw recordings (on Sony) for comparison.  |

| [#9219] Klemperer's Last Concert Hi geroge1977, I should think that was an unauthorised recording but I am not sure what kind of machine had been used. And it seems not as bad as using a personal/ home equipment when we listen to it. And this Werner Unger, I actually did have some email exchanges with him about 5 yrs ago because I was asking about a 'personal CD copy' (using a Philips machine) of a discontinued and rare album of Carl Schuricht's Mozart Requiem (!) from his collection. I think he owns a small CD issuing company ... ? |

| [#9220] Unofficial release of Giulini's Brahms Symphonies Wal 下面的布拉姆斯交響曲全集是在1991年 Giulini 是與 VPO (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra )一起錄音的DGG布拉姆斯交響曲全集!值得擁有, 色調偏灰暗, 速度偏慢因而帶著深沈的悲劇性, 節奏趨向布魯克納化, 不及 Giulini早期與 LAPO 合作的錄音! 當時這個全集錄音被認為不合布拉姆斯正統的詮釋手法! 但 I like it! george1977  |
