| [#9652] My Quad II Brothers would know I owned my first pair of tube amplifier ~ Quad II. It was around Jun 2001. Since than I dropped into the dark side of tubes. Quad II was recommended to me by Tim. I recalled one of the fuse boxes was damaged during the shipping. If the tubes did not light up, I had to clamp the wire to make it working. I did not how to fix it at the time. I was too nervous and dared not to do anything on it :-( Richard came to see my LS3/5A on day probably in July 2001. I was grateful to him who accompany me to Ap Liu Street to buy the fuse boxes and replayed them for me :-) My Quad II was bought from Singapore for 650 US(?). The following was the actual photo showed on the auction :-)  |

| [#9655] My Quad II The seller sent the original capacitors to me after a few months. He told me he forgot to include in the parcel. The seller was good though he shipped the capacitors by surface :-) They are good capacitors :-)  |

| [#9656] My Quad II This was one of the earliest occasions I went to Richard's home (clinic). At that time if my mermory did not make me wrong, Richard did not own any Quad II. The Dubilier capacitors were replace with MIT Multicap :-) They were quite expensive, I still recalled 165 each at Wing Shing :-)  |
