I wonder how that compare with active pre-amp + attentuator. timtube ------------------ Tim Sometimes, I use an Alps 50k log potentiometer with my Leak TL12.1. I prefer the sound than an active pre amp like the EAR 834L because the TL12.1 don't produce any hum with the Alps pot while there is always a hum from any valve pre amp I have used in the past. Leak TL12.1 being leak sure sounded good...in my opioion I have tried various combinations and it is now convenient for me to plug one set of Leak 12.1 with my Fishers 400CX and the other with my Marantz 7. I should get one more CD player in order to make switching easier.. : ) Now, my Mcintosh MC240 and my Quad II are being left cold on the shelf (打入冷宮)... : (  |
