Last night we tried VR at: 400cx: 11 o'clock 12.1: 9 o'clock cd: almost max guess i will prefer 400cx at 9-10 o'clock. will spend time to explore. btw, the last 10 minutes of listening (after about 2 hours) really stunning with the "spring bouncing power":-) these amps need more time to run in though. |

With BC1, Tannoy or other more sensitive speakers, the TL12.1 could well be a better choice. But I do agree that the TL12.1 should be a better choice to be compare to the Rogers Williamson as they have around 12-15W output power. It shoud be more relevant for 25W TL25A to compare to the Mullard 5-20 amps, TFK V69 and the F2a11 Williamson which all have around 20-25W output. |
