| [#11106] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user The previous owner told me that V69's sound like fairy from heaven if coupled with suitable preamp.. ^___^ ------------------------------------------------ I doubt if the previous owner really know this unless he owned a V-series pre-amp or some prefessional studio mixing console. No commercial pre-amp can handle the 600 ohm input impedance of the V69. |

| [#11111] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user 電容在音響器材中對聲音的改善作用一直以來受到發燒友極大的關注。市面上常見的高級補品電容品牌繁多、價格不一、脾性又各不相同。無論是器材DIY還是摩機，怎樣才能更好的用好高級電容，發揮不同電容的最佳效力一直是發燒友們關注的熱點。圍繞這個爭論已久的熱門話題我們想方設法的尋找到了13款電容。 3月25日下午，蘭州部分發燒友歡聚蘭州美通音響行，對四大品牌音頻電容：HOVLAND、MIT、JENSEN、M-CAP做了試聽並進行了逐一評測。 此次活動受到了本論壇多數發燒友的關注與支持，同時作為甘、青、寧地區實力最為雄厚的HI-FI器材代理商——美通音響公司為活動提供了測試場地和參考器材。在此向他們一併表示謝意！ 話歸正題，首先來談MIT電容。今次測試的MIT電容有兩款，分別是PPFXS和RTX。沒想到這兩款來自一家的電容竟然是兩種截然不同的風格！PPFXS屬於陽剛清爽冷豔型。反應速度迅捷、兩端延伸出色、高頻通透細膩，但中頻不夠豐滿、密度欠佳，因此少了幾分韻味。同門的RTX恰恰屬於溫暖厚潤型，速度慢于PPFXS但平衡感一流，層次極為豐富，中頻醇厚，低頻鬆軟、延綿，下潛很深，彈性和力度極為出色！ 再來談M-cap的銀膜電容，總的說來這款電容有些讓我們感到失望。除了具有良好的音樂分析力和明亮的音色外，其中低頻的層次、厚度以及結像、定位都顯遜色。 其次我們測試了HOVLAND電容。令人驚詫的是HOVLAND電容豐富多彩的泛音表現。該電容音質非常細膩飄逸，音色甜潤，雖然中高頻不是通透與細緻，但久聽卻難免顯得有些纖瘦與薄氣！ 最後我們測試了jensen的全線電容，在jensen中我們終於感受到了其銀膜旗艦的風采。 首先來談鋁膜鋁管吧！質感好、密度佳、全頻段十分均衡是jensen電容共有的特點。這些特點毫無疑問的在鋁膜鋁管電容中得到了體現，但作為jensen的入門電容，其中高頻略顯晦暗，缺少一絲明亮的色彩！ 立即換上銅膜鋁管馬上感到場面比鋁膜的大了不少，但樂器的形態似乎也隨之大了起來！音樂的背景訊息大大增加，細節充沛，音樂形象栩栩如生。 換下鋁管之後再換上銅膜銅管，感覺其音質走向開始偏重於沉穩，低頻的凝聚感好、下潛一流、力度出色且富於彈性，只是顆粒感略粗，中頻醇而不透，少了幾分靈秀之氣。 當換上銅膜紙管的電容後音色又有了新的轉變。我們感受到了靜如秋水般的背景和極佳的平衡度，其中頻質感與密度也是以上所聽電容所無能企及的。這些特點尤其適合表現人聲，因此對於喜好人聲的燒友我們極力推薦此款電容。 手頭待測的電容在一個個的減少，結果也是驚喜接連不斷！如此大規模的理性測試令在場的甘肅發燒友感到無比興奮。隨即，我們換上了聞名已久的jensen銅膜瓷管電容。聞後果然名不虛傳——瓷管的特點是集合了銅管和紙管的所有的優點後又增添了更佳的空氣感。因此在表現中高頻段以及超高音時具備了獨有的細膩與美豔，有一種金碧輝煌的光澤感，帶給聽者的是清澈透明帶有甜味的高頻，絲毫不會讓您感到刺耳和尖澀！ 終於輪到了jensen的銀膜電容上場，這款電容真的很難讓人平靜下來去形容和描述，因為它太出色、太令人不可思議了！之前便知jensen銀膜是電容中的極品，但總無機會感受其魅力，若非親自聆聽絕對無法相信其“毒性之大”到令人一旦聽罷便“毒發”而不可自持——這哪里只是只電容啊？！分明是安裝在電路中的超級“CPU”！毫不誇張地說，jensen銀膜對聲音帶來的改變是完全的質的飛躍，程度之大好比換將了一套更高級的器材！至此，我們才明白為何一顆小小的電容（相對而言）賣到幾近“天價”？！那是因為“買家沒有賣家精”——jensen銀膜絕非浪得虛名！ jensen銀膜甫一開聲就技壓四座，首先帶給聽眾的就是一種“萬佛朝宗”般的磅4氣勢和驚人的音樂表現力！這是一種與生俱來的金子般的高貴、充滿鮮活與生動的真實。音色無比醇厚，聲音通透到仿佛空氣中容不下一絲塵埃。儀態自然卻又重量實足，沒有絲毫緊繃生硬的感覺，令人既感震撼過癮又無半點的不安與不適！絕無一絲的霸氣與荇臐A樂音撒落之處散發著優雅迷人的貴氣！正所謂百聽不厭，一聽傾心！各種樂器的音色涇渭分明、定位精准，方位感、空間感一目了然，音場顯得極為宏大寬廣；鋼琴豐潤華麗，銅管樂輝煌嘹亮，木管樂晶瑩通透，人聲醇厚優美，打擊樂鏗鏘有力、彈性十足，連鼓皮、鼓架的細微震動都絲毫不落；細節表現極為清晰豐富：纖細到連每個音符都無所遁形，這是一種解析力超然接近到完美的感覺！那感覺好比初春二月雨後的柳梢，雖然只是星星點點的吐綠但卻那末的清新爽目，四處彌漫著恬淡的芬芳！ 傾聽jensen的銀膜電容，完全就是一種“黃山歸來不看嶽”的感覺，至此我們終於領略到了jensen銀膜的芳華，並完完全全地被它感動了…… http://www.tubebbs.com/add.php?forum=2&titid=309244&replyid=353208&style=0  |

Especially my 25A did not win yesterday. That's the reason they were just put on the war field :-)  |

I do scare Mr. Rogers will not come :-) I am testing them. They are singing in a very "reasonale" volumn. No distortion was heard but I do hear my boss shouting with distortion.  |

| [#11123] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user Gingers, You have tried the canned TCC and found nice sound (vis-a-vis the Metalpack TCC). Now you want to try a different cap. Of course it is no harm trying for fun. This is not for problem-solving though. If there is indeed distortion, I am afraid how many different types of coupling caps you would try/change will not help reveal the hiden problem. Your attention and energy will only be distracted. Learn how to check out functional problems: a) measure and compare the voltages at various important points b) find out the cathode currents of different tubes c) etc. BTW, TL/12.1 is MUCH easier to clip than TL/25A. If the Rogers William did not win the TL/12.1, TL/25A should not lose to the Rogers William because of TL/25A's clipping. Just my 2 cents. |

| [#11124] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user with the 1m resistor connected like this, it is no longer a grid stopper. now this is voltage divider with 1m and 22k. there is significant attentuation but it will work. now you need to add another resistor say 22k to replace the original 22k as the grid stopper. |
