| [#12324] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user This museum quality and absolutely beautiful FISHER 400CX tube preamplifier competed with Marantz 7C. The seductive vocal,clarinet and sax sound, incredible musicality open and deep sound stage, clarity and details of any sound, any instrument - makes this preamp a true state-of-the art, I use this preamp to feed the Audio Research classic 150 to drive the infinity RS 1B high-mid panel and the sound is wonderful. The unit is all original, in like new condition, all controls, switches, and functions operate perfectly It is stored in the AC room. All 12ax7 tubes are original, branded 'Fisher', made in Germany by Telefunken - 12AX7's are the famous Telefunken's 'Smooth Plates', hence the additional reason for absolutely perfect sound. The other EI tubes were just replaced. The face is perfect with no scratches, scuffs or nicks, the chassis is also excellent. the wooden case looks beautiful. Sale are final no return, please see my feedback and rest assure after bidding. Accept money order, bank wire transfer, western union. shipping + handling in the 48 USA is $50. Shipping and handling oversea is from $150 to $200. the preamp will be double boxed by professional packing and shipping service. the starting bid is set only at the price of current market low end modern solid state preamps. In the past the same preamps sold for around $2000 with no better physical condition.  |
