I'd love to listen to them when I am back in HK on 1st Oct. I haven't bought many toys this year because all good vintage gears have been bought by the rich HK audiophiles after the economy recovered! Just look at the price of Rogers good badge and Chartwell LS35a in ebay, the final auction prices are an index for the HK economy :) Hon |

| [#12441] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user I have a pair of Leak TL12.1 amps with closed frame transformers for sale. The output valves are modern 6L6/5881. Other valves are vintage EF37, ECC33 and metal can 5Z4 rectifier. All components were changed: Audionote signal wire from phono socket, the input stage is triode coupled, modern speaker terminals and phono inputs were put on. | [#12446] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user Hi guys, I have few questios regarding Leak ST20. Hope some "high hand" can help me... I help my friend to restore his Leak ST 20 recently. After finish soldering all the new components and switch on to test..... The power amplifier work well and produce nice sounds from speakers. After few mins, have no any sound from speakers; then I check the circuit and found the R21@ 100R ,3W (Yes is 3W, I'm not use 5W or 7W) was "drop" due too hot and the soldering was melt... What is going on? Any one can help? Thank you.. |
