(from the American company Ercona) was keen for Leak to start using this value - "You' ve got to use the kt88- IT LOOKS SEXY!" Therefore Leak TL/50Plus design was initiated at the request of the American company Ercona who would later become distribution of Leak products in the USA. The TL/50 Plus can deliver around 60 watts at clipping, although the circuit is rated at 50 watts. The distortion rating was 0.1%at 45 Watts (+/- 1dB). Leak TL/50 Plus may be the first KT88 tube amplifier in the audio history :-)  |

No wonder there seem to be more 117V TL/50+ seen in eBay which is unusual for Leak gears. It seem to me British not keen on designing amp using KT88 or when KT88 is introduced, British audio industry already started to delcine? Ace |
