However, minimalist reps such as 47 Labs, Pass Labs (earlier versions) and Audio Note etc. can also sound great. ＞3.摩機是否香港才流行，其他國家流吾流行？ Modifying is an even bigger thing in other countries. If you read web reviews elsewhere, the hot thing these days is to spend another 50% or so modifying Chinese Hifi. Modifying CD/SACD players like Esoteric, Sony, Marantz is also popular. Some companies would sell modified players as a business. In history, some hifi brands began as a modification business. McCormack (then Modsquad) and MSB are two companies that reached there fame by modifying Philips CD players. |
