| [#14271] Full Leak It was a happy day yesterday at dd's place. This morning I am not happy at all. The bloody Cathay Pacific flight to London is delayed for 3 hours. I am waiting in the airport right now. Anyway, lets's talk about Leak. CP, it's a pity I missed you this time. Hope to see you in August. I think HK is the Leak and vintage audio capital. There are so many collectors who are passionate about vintage hi fi, unlike England that most people are more interested in solid state gear, Chinese valve amps or IPod. Now that John K and dd have nearly all the Leak amps other than the ultra rare Type 15, what is the next break through in the Leak circle? We have listened to the Leak amps mainly using vintage Tannoys, ESL57 and LS3/5a, perhaps there are some other vintage or modern speakers we can try. A friend is quite interested in the big Klipsh horn using these low power amps. Perhaps next time when I am in HK, if someone has Lowther or Klipsh speakers, we can have a Leak party using these speakers. Hon |

| [#14273] Full Leak Richard I have tried the Pye HF25 KT66 and Leak Stereo 60 push pull amps with ATC SCM12, the sound wasn't that good. ATC SCM12 and vintage amps don't match well :( The Harbeth HL-P7ES size is similar to the Spendor BC1, I will be very interested to hear the Harbeth or modern Spendor driven by vintage valve amps.
