| [#14309] Leak Club -Collector Gingers, Thanks for the comments but I was wondering it is fair to compare different types of power tube in same circuitry? Nevertheless, it gave a introduction to the characteristics of different power tubes. It is hard to hunt down those EL34 high feet. Have 2 pieces in hand looking for another 2 pieces, any brothers have extra 2 pieces to cut love? :-) Ace |

One tube people should really try on pentode SE amp is the Telefunken metal base EL34. You would probably mistaken the amp being a 300B DHSETA if blind-folded. |

| [#14320] Leak Club -Collector Elekit TU879S SE -------------------------- To my paper ears, the 2A3 amplifier which has been modified by DD sounded much better in all area than the elekit which even in use of Tall feet Seven el34. And the Leak TL/10 is better than the 2A3 :-) elekit can be a tube tester though it can open voice with a variety of tubes :-) |

| [#14321] Blind test would be Fun Yesterday, I saw a few minutes of the tv drama called the ' 御用閒人'. It's fun and exciting to see them guessing the name brand and origin of different wines. I think it would more exciting to guess which tubes and amps are ? |
