I'll be very interested in your analysis about their performance as used on DSLR, like my D700. It's just that I have not been able to get a grip on your statement due to my poor HK slang. I really appreciate if you could say if a Zeiss or Leica wide angle would be be best suited with a D700. Best regards. |

| [#14769] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) I had used Yashica and Rollei film camera previously. I had several Zeiss lens from Rollei and only one from Contax for my Yashica. I use the Rollei Zeiss 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 80mm, 135mm, 200mm (all made in Germany) in Canon 300D (only Rollei--＞Canon EF adapter is available nowadays) with good result. I also have experience in using Contax Zeiss 35mm (MMJ-made in Japan) to take portrait with Olympus E-510, it is good, in particular, the skin tone (that's my reason I like Zeiss lens much than the Leica). I am a poor guy so I could only afford to buy Yashica ML lens (made by famous 富岡光學) but the image output from these ML lens are excellent and even the best compared with its price. I will buy Contax Zeiss for my Olympus 4/3 later when I get extra money to compare with my ML lens. This should be taken by E-510 + Contax Zeiss 35mm f2.8 at it wide open!!  |
