A burnt one removed from a vintage amp. ----------------------- Of course I was kidding when I was conveying a message learnt from Limage that gears including transformers, cables, interconnects, AC plugs, AC sockets, etc. must be in perfect working order, and free from dust for perfect mating with each other. Without meeting this basic requirement, a $8K price-tagged step-down or whatever is meaningless. I low-end step-down transformer may do an even better job of the sort. Have a happy family day!  |

| [#14931] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user We should have a party to compare various step-down transformer on the same amp and same system. It will be great if we can also have the PS Audio unit which by converting AC-DC-AC, is able to produce 117V 60Hz power. |
