| [#14956] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user http://www.r-type.org/exhib/aaa0107.htm The 6L6G is is a larger more powerful audio beam tetrode than the 6V6 receiver type. This was used for audio amplifiers and modulators for small Amplitude Modulated transmitters. The construction is of a traditional flat cathode with a zig-zag grid supported on notched rods surrounding the cathode. The beam plates are vertical '[' shaped sections to the edges of the grid assembly. The anode is an open vertical box that encloses the rest of the electrodes. The classic envelope is 49 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 114 mm tall. |

I am very lucky to have limage's single KT88 on loan to me. Though I think they are not match quad, i.e. limage's KT88 will stand out after the AVO check, they really make my TL/50+ to sing. The photo showed the pair was from Alan.
