If my memory still serves me, C3 and C5 are the two smaller coupling and C4 and C6 are the larger coupling capacitors.

Mak's ST-20 - cut love from my collection - had sporatic extremely high volume output on one channel. My spontaneous diagnosis was that the negative feedback loop was "open".

Mak took it back to me for an inspection.

Couldn't locate any problematic components in the NFB loop. So, my suspection went to the wires. The exhaustive search for a faulty wire/soldering!

I found a hidden bad-soldering - the blue wire could be pulled out!

Bingo - problem solved. I should have checked this wire first, instead of the tag board. :)

What do you mean by "final version"? Most audio products will have Mk1, MkII, MkIII etc., never a final version.

We've seen the beautiful 27M undergone alpha test with few changes. May be you will be selected as the beta test group.
