| [#15595] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user Just some thoughts.. I believe there should be a right balance between software emphassis and hardware emphassis in this hobby. And on software, too much emphassis on one source is no good too. We could become adapted to their coloration in recording, presentation, etc.. One guru has it right that what we hear as OUR reference would eventually shape out OUR system - the more varied we took reference, the more balanced system we shall come up with. But this saying may not apply to pure music lovers, who are in the other side of the dichotomy, i.e. MP3 would be equally fine as LEAK TL/12.1. :) |

Both had the S130 cold cathode valve in a B4 socket, and both looked standard. I note that the TL10 has an EF36 style chimney and two separate smoothing caps rather than the usual 4x8uf square capblock - anyone got/seen one? Gary. -------------------------------------- It is a S.130. I was told this tube was used in the TL/25 :-)  |
