| [#16211] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) When the USAF in Lakenheath were doing the Air Fete I used to go along quite freely as my father-in-law was a retired Major Sargent from the USAF. The test pilot for the Stealth Fighter was his neighbour during the 80's. We still go to the base every month as he gets his pension there and we do a little bit of shopping as it's cheaper to buy everything there. Sadly due to security reason the air fete is no more and I can't see it happening again in the foreseeable future. It was great fun though, having proper American Hot Dogs and Burgers was a must. Luckily we still have a lot of airshows around the country. This is my son sitting in a microlight in a airfield in our village.  |

| [#16218] ETSC & ETRC & ESAC Members (44) 你有冇攞埋部 E-300 去試 mount 呀? 大陸野品質參差, 要試架! 你要先將鏡頭安裝上 adapter, 再 mount 落部 E-300, 記得 mount 之前部 E-300 要熄咗先 (off)。 開 E-300 時果粒藍燈會閃(電子除塵), 將 對仕焦婚唇調至 SF or CF, 輕按失打對焦, 準確時有紅點係對焦位上, 旁邊資料有對焦準確綠點和 beep 聲。 你自檢查部 E-300 menu 所有設定, 因為如果 set 咗 "Focus not fix, no shutter can be fired" 咁就唔俾你 fire 囉! 如果都唔 work, 惟有拎番去蠅記換! ___________________________________________ Sonatas 師兄 試暈晒都係唔得，揾龍哥換過個仲 hang 埋機添！ 谷卵氣...百思不得其解，最后試下將佢個 firmware 升級去 ver 1.5 (原來得 ver 1.0) 中飯時間再去蝇記，老板娘球九其攞咗個交配環過我，交接上後开機...得喎!!!! 原來 firmware 累事.. ^.^ |

None was lost during the war and if not for them the British troops would have accounted for more casualties. May I just make it clear that I am anti-war and had protested in London about the invasion in Iraq. Nonetheless, I respect the armed personnels as they are just fulfilling their duty. My great uncle was a general during the Chinese-Japanese War and it's the politicians who to blame.  |

It follows the milestone of the original Lightning which is the first Supersonic jet fighter. There is the one in the Seeting Museum which is 10 minutes from our village. The owner of this museum is the engineer who invents the microlight Wallis WA-116 Series 1 gyroplane for James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice" .  |

It was quoted that: "The Battle of Britain officially lasted from 10 July until 31 October 1940, but the heaviest fighting took place between 8 August and 21 September. Both the Supermarine Spitfire and the Hurricane are renowned for their part in defending Britain against the Luftwaffe — generally the Spitfire would intercept the German fighters, leaving Hurricanes to concentrate on the bombers, but despite the undoubted abilities of the "thoroughbred" Spitfire, it was the "workhorse" Hurricane that scored the highest number of RAF victories during this period, accounting for 1,593 of the 2,739 claimed." Nowadays the Hurricane is rare than the Spitfire. I think I heard the news that Bill Gates has finally managed to get one after years for searching and it merely costs him £1 Million !!  |

Yes, the few available squadrons of Spitfire was actually far from enough to guard the island, not to mention winning the BOB.  |
