| [#17007] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user If the shoe oil melts, it means your transformers would be overheated :-) ----------------- LEAK 12.1 output transformer should NOT get hot, but its power supply transformer does heat up after hours of use. I don't worry about melting of the grease but am not sure if animal grease (whale grease?) will cause unknown side-effect to the iron core and the insulation of the magnetic wire inside. IMHO, tar-paint is a safer option. But I respect other's taste. :P |

| [#17009] Leak Club for Leakies or Leak user To polish the shoes and all the leather equippments were nightmares to me almost 30 years ago. We first applied thick shoe oil to the shoe and melted the oil with candle. This was the first important step to make the shoe oil cover the shoes equally and gently. Then let it dry and then started to polish the shoes with a piece of gentle cloth. |
