| [#2317] 幸福Hi-Fi茶會 Last sat. was indeed a happy day for me in meeting Two of the die hard QUAD lover,dkyyu and Pcs100,nice gentlemen in every aspect. I bumped into dkyyu's place within a very short notice, after a call from JLeung,just couldn't resist the temptation of hearing a pure QUAD analog system and a taste of the fine tea. And I must say that I was not disappointed, with both the music and the tea. The only regret was that I had to leave early because of another appointment. I'm very hppy that I can learn tea from dkyyu and discuss hi-fi with him and Patrick. Thanks again,dkyyu, and Patrick please let me have a listen when your ESL63 is ready. |

I was so excited meeting so many old s well as new faces on 30/12. Frankly, it was my great pleasure indeed and I really enjoyed every moment learning from everyone of you. Please keep up and hope to meeting you nice people soon. Dear Limage, I am sorry to tell you that I just learnt from powercord all panels of my ESL were rebuilt by OTA as a stanrdard full service package. That explained why my ESL sounds more hifi than previous original pair. I would arrange a comparison for you and all panel men once my NOS original ESL are shipped back from Canada. A happy new year to all. |

I could not stop marveling at the amount of hair-splitting work involved. Here are some of the illustrations.
