| [#1] 788 I found a pair of Focus Audio 788 today at second hand shop, the price is ok, but I realize that the speaker cable pole is very old, nearly all coating is becoming black or grey, so I did not test the speaker. Can any C-hing here give me some more information about FS-788, how long has that speaker launched? Moreover, if the pole is so old, do you think that speaker can be considered? Actually I have using 68SE now and the cable pole is so beautiful, just don't know how long will make it to become grey. For Focus Audio user here, does your speaker cable pole turn to grey very quickly? Thanks! |

| [#2] 788 I have been used the subject speaker for few years and sold it recently. My experience is that the listening area and a powerful Amp. are very important for the speaker., otherwise the sound becomes too thick and unclear in the high extension.The binding post was still good without the condition that you're mentioned. Good speaker indeed but need to spend a lot of time to tune it. |

| [#3] 788 Thanks hienboy! I believe that pair of speakers may be treated not very well then, so I would wait for the other pair. BTW, I am using 68SE now and I love the sound very much especially when it plays with Piano and Violin, I believe 788 should be much better then. Cheers! |
