From the Naim forum, people compared any different streamer model, and what they found out is the DAC really makes the big different. The top model at Naim is NDX, it sounds the best, most likely because of the dac chips it uses. And people said streaming functions of various brand are the same, so I start to look at the DLNA. You can find Sony or Pioneer bluray players are having this. Yamaha will have a CD player CDN100 having the DLNA. Stay tuned. |

This is why it can be used as a replacement should your SBT goes out of service a few years from now. Of course, you don't get the touch screen and all the fancy stuff. It is useful if you have a USB DAC. Pogoplug is cheap, that's why it is perfect to use as a Squeezebox client/playback device. |

I follow the instructions in this link: http://vortexbox.org/content/149-Logitech-SqueezeBox-replacement-for-under-30 It was very easy and I got it up and running in 15 mins. The Pogoplug costed me about HK$350. In my case, the sound driving my USB-SPDIF converter is about the same as my SBT.  |
