| [#9] 最靚聲的鍚線是那個牌子? WBT? CARDAS? 古河? SILTECH? 不知名? 可吾可以講吓軍用錫點解會係最好? 應該係冇銀用(no silver content). 有些高温既電器講明吾可以用有銀含量既焊錫. 焊得緊未必一定好聲. 試用過一條軍用電線,吾係幾好.又用過一些軍用膽,較為耐用,但音效一般. 有人愛用Siltech 和 Audio Note 焊錫因其有較高和較純既銀含量. 以上純屬個人意見. |

You never find a HiFi system in a tank, right? BTW military approved solder is not difficult to find. The brand Kester mentioned by andy-2667 is one of them. However I am not sure about WBT or Audio Note... |

Some other brands of "high performance silver solder for audio" are mentioined here: www.thlaudio.com/sodrothrE.htm Also Eichmann 5.2% silver is said to be good too if you can find it. Furutech S-070 has 4% fine silver. Mondorf M-Solder has silver/Gold. |

Mundorf with gold content is a serious rival. With so much silver, the melting point is higher in the 500+ degree range. We do not use it on capacitors or heat sensitive components. For that, we option for Cardas Quad Eutectic or WBT solders. If you are planning on using it on caps and resistors, take care with a heatsink (alligator clip) to protect the parts. ------------------------------------------------- looks this solder was very high melting point, I sae your message that some method can help the vascoity of melting solder, can U help us & teach us to do.  |
