| [#1] Retro 70s & 80s pop CDs recollection project This year I am going to rip all the old 70s and 80s pop music (and alternative) CDs to my pc. Haven't listened to them for a long time. And after having acquired bigger and better speakers, I rediscovered some good CD version (at least as far as pop is concerned). Within the realm of pop, we could still found some better recording - or better produced CDs. I am going to make a record - very slowly - about what CD version is better or worse. | [#4] Retro 70s & 80s pop CDs recollection project I only have her LPs during the old days but they were sold ... now only has this version. I haven't listened to older CD version. | [#5] Retro 70s & 80s pop CDs recollection project Had the LP version, dun have the 1991 CD version. Bought this one. Forgot how the LP sounds and have no pt of comparison. But this deluxe edition sounds ok, if not superb. At least there is some sense of instrument separation. Worth a listen.  |
