| [#3523] LS3/5A 同好會 my pair recently got from ebay is 30845 is real 15 ohm with the 3-transformer crossover and the white belly bass driver. although they arrived as black ash finish, I discover it was teak veneered. I removed the black paint and revealed the teak finish. |

| [#3538] LS3/5A 同好會 is tl25 better than 12.1? ------------------------- There is often confusion among the following amp from Leak : TL12.1 = KT66 Triode TL25 = KT66 Pentode TL12+ = EL84 UL TL25+ = EL34/KT66/5881 UL TL25 is ultra rare and particularly impossible to find regardless of price. TL12.1 has been very rare but perhap not any more seeing the number of owners here in R33. TL12+ and TL25+ are among the most commonly found tube monoblock from Leak and cost may be less than half the price of TL12.1. All 4 probably work well with LS3/5A. |
