| [#2] Esoteric X-05 DSD... 係唔係問normal/direct mode 的分別? 如果係,答案如下: 只係对應sacd 1. normal mode - audio 輸出 freq 由5hz~50khz 2. direct mode - audio 輸出 freq 由5hz~80khz 應用, 如你的音響系統在播放sacd时不能对5hz~80khz有一個平均合水準的頻闊, 而且有燥音. 就用normal. |

| [#4] Esoteric X-05 Hi C-Hing, I am using X-05 also, I have used it for about 2 months, still need to run it, improvement can be found day by day, better sound stage and everything. However, please allow me to have some suggestions, the speaker cable is too entry model, if you can spend some money, most of the speaker cable cost about 2k in r33 second hand should give you much better result. Highly recommend you change the speaker cables. Moreover, just don't know whether you are using balance cable or not, if you can use balance, must go for it, much better sound stage will be found. My two cents only, cheers. |

| [#5] Esoteric X-05 Thanks Tartar Ching, I am using the AQ diamond xlr cable already. The seperation of the instruments are obvious, more airy or transparent. You are right, my speaker may be the weakest point, it is pair of entry level for bi-wire. Any good suggestion in the second hand market ? budget is wiith 3000. Ching, beside the spks cable, do my setup balance or match? I like the saxophone, guitar, piano, trumpet and fusion jazz. .... thanks , keep in touch |

| [#10] Esoteric X-05 I m using analysis big silver oval, I feel it is fast, went up High and deep in the bass but u won't feel hash of the sound, and the sound stage is not width enough, it is a good speaker cable if your speaker sounds is the kind of slow and if you feel the high frequency is not enough, you can use the cable to tune you hifi gear |

My recent setup is as follow:- Esoteric X05 -- AQ Diamond --＞ MBL 7008 --Atlas Mavros--＞ B&W805S The base, 3D and stage width improve a lot. Now I want to replace the interconnect for a better high level. Can anyone give me a suggestion? Can madison e3 Extreme 1 help? |
