[#2] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Should also consider Audi A6 Quattro. |

[#3] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 mda, Strickly speaking, I don't like Audi's look. So Audi is out of question. Any opinion on these double Boys. |

[#4] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Depending how long you intend to keep the car & what sort of driver you are, 5-series is a more agile handling car than E-class. On the other hand, Mercedes are better built overall & should age better, many bmw start developing body noise after 4-5 years use. |

[#5] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Thanks you. Will intend to keep until the arrival of new model, say 4 to 5 years. Assuming everything equals, how do the expert compare the BMW and BM in terms of: 1) second hand trade-in value 2) interior 3) ride qualify 4) drive quality 5) maintenance cost? By the way, BMW requires interval service after every 15K KM and all cost covered by waranty. How about Mercedes? The same? Understand both are designed for humble driver. |

[#6] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 The cost of MB E250 is HK$540k + $23k (GPS) + other option such as 17" wheel, sun root... etc, it may cost you HK$600k. BMW 523i with most options installed (17" wheel, parking camera ... just HK$520k. 1) second hand trade-in value - MB is better but not much. 2) interior - MB is better but old fashioned, BMW is trendy but quality slightly worse than MB and Audi. 3) ride qualify - MB is much comfort, but the 1.8 turbo engine may be noisy than BMW L6 4) drive quality - BMW better. 5) maintenance cost? - not sure, both are new model. 最後修改時間: 2011-09-11 20:09:16 |

[#7] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Very informative. Thank you. I heard the MB sales telling me they are going to knock the price off for E-200 down to $490K after getting tax examption. Will think about the E200 model |

[#8] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 I have tested both, and would like to add some insights MB looks bigger and more elegant on the outside, but inside it is really bare. The dash board is simply boring. Under the hood, it is only a 4 cylinder, but would be good on mileage efficiency. Only 6 gears BMW looks more exciting inside, not really elegant on the outside. Sometimes, one cannot differentiate between the 3 vs 5 series. But at the current promo price, you got upgraded to 8 gearbox, 6 cylinder, idrive, back camera. The economics of the BMW is hard to beat. My choice would be BMW. Mind you, the E200 is underpowered, and I feel inadequate if you live on the island side with hills Hope this helps 最後修改時間: 2011-09-12 08:45:17 |

[#9] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Thank you. A great pleasure learning from you all. I have a 3 yr old L-4 E90, just wonder whether I should extend the expensive 4th yr warranty to buy time until the arrival of new 3-series or alternatively trade-in right now for a 523 or an E-class with limited budget. |

[#11] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Hi, David, I duno know yet. When I took my car to service 2 weeks ago, a new E93 323 cab sitting silent in the showroom at a huge bargain offer (from $550K down to $480K with added steering wheel gear change function) caught my eyes opening wide, but the 4-seater will possibly become a concern to my family and I was also worrying about the new 3-series launching soon. The F30 will come soon, is there anyone knowing the launch timeline for F30 cab? What's your view? |

[#13] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Uncle D, if I were you, I would try something new and probably go for the new E coz you are already driving a E90. I am looking for a used SLK350 as well, do you want to join me and go to Hung Hum ZF to take a look? 最後修改時間: 2011-09-12 12:35:48 |

[#14] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 "By the way, BMW requires interval service after every 15K KM and all cost covered by waranty. How about Mercedes?" BMW probably has the most competitive price for their extended warranty among most of the car brands in HK... Call ZF and DCH for the Merc's and Audi's prices and you'll laugh to death |

[#15] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 As far as I know for MB/ZF you have to start paying the warranty for a nominal fee in the first year. For BMW at least the first year is FREE. |

[#17] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 Allow me to extend my heartfelf appreciation. After reading all your opinions, I still haven't got a clue where to draw the conclusion yet. It seems choices between BM and MB at similar price range are being ding dong on the same par. The warranty renewal is asking $23K for the fourth yr, I still have two months left to decide which way to go. |

[#18] BWM 523 vs MB E-class Blue efficiency 250/200 David, I went to ZF on last Sat and did not see any exciting thing. But please give me a shout when you are there, I like to join to chiu chiu with you. I tend to agree with dlbc hing, that "服務BM贏". The change to poor altitude of the salesman returning call from Hung Hom ZF really pissed me off after I told him I am entitled for a 5% corporate rebate. What a service from Hung Hom ZF and I would only buy the MB from my corporate account manager. |
