| [#572] Sea-gull 50 Greatest Rock Albums Of All Time 猛碟第廿八話 名單上終於出現第一位女將，那當然，Janis Joplin一直被尊奉為搖滾女王，入圍最佳搖滾大碟自然順理成章。她生前只推出過三張專輯，正要邁向另一個理程碑時，卻不幸英年早逝。像她此般英雄人物，搖滾史上沒出過幾個，她在Jimi Hendrix去世僅半個月後便跟隨香消玉殞，接著翌年又有Jim Morrison在巴黎身故，短短不足一年間，搖滾樂界失去三大巨頭，而且通通活不過廿七歲，真如中了魔咒一般，樂迷受此重擊，不禁悲泣疾呼：搖滾已死！ 《Pearl》是在Joplin死後才推出面世，從此碟成績觀來，Joplin在音樂方面的天份，理應還大有作為，可惜天妒紅顏，徒嘆奈何。Joplin在嗓子上的運用非常獨到，力量澎湃之餘，又能滲入幽幽藍調及濃濃騷靈情懷，這種技巧現在不幸已失傳。"Cry Baby"、"A Woman Left Lonely"、"My Baby"、"Me And Bobby McGee"、"Trust Me"、"Get It While You Can"，Rock Queen也好、Soul Queen也好，Joplin用《Pearl》來証明，她是踩在中界線，而且沒人比她調和/融合/演繹得更好。 夜蘭人靜，偶爾會找來她的絕唱伴我入眠，Janis Joplin，多麼令人懷念的一代歌后。 28 Janis Joplin 《Pearl》  |
