16-bit 48kHz USB input (future upgradable to 24/96 USB)
DAC2
24-bit 192kHz Asynchronous USB input - #50 [CKKeung], 10-07-13 11:46The page 3 of the preview on W4S DAC2 in 6moons.com shows that there are still some bugs in this recently released DAC2.
http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/wyred4/dac_3.html
Hope that all the bugs can be solved when it is availabl for sale in HK.

I am new here, I have been using the DAC2 for the past week, only with 16/44.1 files, and it has been working perfectly with my small system. It is still in the run-in stage. So far I am very happy with it, I like what I hear, although I don't have much experience with other DACs. - #53 [swell], 10-07-13 12:03其實dac1都好吸引(自己都係打算用普通notebook play ape/mp3), 不過dac2就for 將來
可惜冇耳擴功能....

- #56 [CKKeung], 10-07-13 15:43batmanames04 hing,
No need to hurry.
I suggest we should also listen to all the following DAC before making the purchase decision:
Antelope Audio Zodiac Plus
Mytek Stereo 192
W4S DAC2
HiFace Young DAC http://www.tweekgeek.com/_e/M2Tech/product/Young/Young_DAC.htm
They all belong to the new generation of DAC suitable for CAS or ordinary use and are <HK$15k. - #57 [batmanames04], 10-07-13 18:42thanks ckkeung hing s comments.
from price point of view i would consider only w4s because lack of water . (if upgrade from my benchmark dac1) by the way m2tec dac seems using ess chip - #58 [CKL2], 10-07-13 21:53Hi batmanames04,
I agree that HiFace + W4S DAC1 are also my ultimate choice because of lacking vitamin M! - #59 [rover901], 10-07-13 21:56嘩!DAC2好似好正咁喎, 其实how much in HK?
- #60 [CKKeung], 10-07-13 22:02Price is listed at the HK official dealer Odyssey Audio website. Have a look:
http://www.odysseyaudiohk.com/eng/price.htm
Not sure whether it's the lsit or net price.
However, I think there will be discount at Odyssey's booth at the HiFi Show in Aug.
Therefore, better to wait! - 下一頁 (3 of 63)
