It is excellent sound quality and don't mentioned about the price with other brand. It is difficult to compare. Because its quality, I think other cables from Canare is perfect to me. I think other Canare interconnects users can give you their comments. Please wait and see. |

What I mean is that many people only recommend those famous factory-made cables which are few thousands HK$ a pair - not everyone can afford that price. If Canare's interconnection cable is good in quality, it is a good news to us as not all R33 are affordable for those expensive famous brand-name cables. |

I got both canare and mogami cables on hand, yes, same conclusion as some brothers said, canare is tasteless but truth. Mogami is less truth but muscial. My question is, i am going to japan next month, where can I buy canare cables in Japan. I will go to Osaka. |

| [#197] DIY CANARE線材同好會開將 From the website of Canare regarding auio cables, 4S6, 4S8 and 4S11, it is stated that:- 4S6 is good choice for high frequency components; 4S8 is good choice for all broad spectrum speaker systems and general purpose power amp setups; and 4S11 is recommended for long runs and low end power amp sub-woofer systems. You can see from the charts showing frequency response of the three models and quite different. Does it mean that 4S8 shoudl be more suitable for normal setups rather than 4S11? And it may indicate that usign 4S11 in most of the home-used speakers may inflence the tonal balance. |

| [#199] DIY CANARE線材同好會開將 Hi Everyone I have recently tried 4S11 speaker cable (single to bi-wire) on ATC SCM 7 (previous generation). Terminated with WBT 0681 Cu spades on Power Amp end (Audiolab 800PX, 100W, max 40A per channel) and just bare cable connection at speakers (ATC SCM7) terminal end. In short, for ＜ 30 hours of usage so far. Canare 4S11 is a very neutral cable indeed, well controlled & balanced on High/Mid/Low. Nice vocals (never too much Mid), good High/Low extension, especially with string, like double bass & violin and drum as well. Well matched to ATC SCM7 super linear characteristics indeed. I can't wait to try that 4S11 on my Dynaudio A52 for further run-in and testing (single to singele). Report to be provided later. In my little Low-Fi experience (＜ 3years), 4S11 is surely one of the best kept secret at a jaw-dropping price of $2X/Metre, (not per feet). |
