| [#182] 好聲的探索 One other point I chatted with the sales guy. Why the hell people keep looking for high power amps? He said it simply doesn't make sense at all. How many watts it needs to drive the speaker with sufficient sound pressure level? In most cases, a few watts would be good enough. So, now the question is :- what are the advantages of high power amp when its only deliver just a few watts for listening? |

| [#187] 好聲的探索 I visited a friend who work on music recording and mixing. He has a 300B SE power amp and pair of Tannoy speakers at home for music listening. I asked him if he would like to upgrade his 300B. He replied - no no. He just want to keep the way it is because he loves how it sounds now. He explained to me that the stuido equipment and room need to be treated and EQ for accurate studio monitoring and production. It makes me understand that people would have their own preference on the sound they love. Acurracy isn't what they want. The way I have been working on is getting as low distortion as possible from my tube amps.
