[#25239] Quad One Yesterday I went to a library and read the article written by LI Chiwai on Fat Siu, claiming the QUAD 1 is the BEST KT66 amplifier. I did not have any chance to audition the Quad 1 before. I am curious to listen it. Anyways, I have a bit doubt as the both transformers of Quad 1 are relative small, and the fame if Quad was built up the Quad II. Perhaps, there may be some magic inside the Quad 1 :-) Hope to audition the Quad 1 in the nearest future :-) A pair of Quad 1 with closed frame transformers. Is the open frame version better??
